The founder, Vilma, traveled the pilgrimage paths of the world, finding rest and comfort in the inns that dot these ancient routes. From these experiences came the inspiration for The Way Home: a place where the essence of hostel hospitality blends with the comfort and intimacy of a family environment. The Way Home is more than just a Bed and Breakfast; it is a project that aims to recreate that sense of community and sharing typical of places of rest for travellers. Strengthened by the experience gained during her experience as a tireless traveller, her owner wanted to bring a piece of that world made up of encounters, stories and cultural exchanges to the heart of Desenzano del Garda.

The location and the structure

Located just 600 meters from the lively beach of Desenzano del Garda, the property offers an escape from the daily frenzy. Immersed in the hinterland of Lake Garda, our B&B is an island of peace where you can relax and regenerate, surrounded by nature but a few steps from local attractions. We have two private rooms, each with independent bathroom which guarantees privacy and comfort. The furnishings are taken care of down to the smallest details, to reflect the warm welcome we wish to offer our guests. The Way Home is designed to be experienced as a home: our common area is the heart of the B&B, where you can relax in the living room, prepare a meal in our equipped kitchen or enjoy the view from the balcony. It is the ideal space to share experiences with other guests or simply enjoy a moment of tranquility. Choosing us means opting for a unique experience, where every detail is designed to make you feel welcomed and pampered. Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple or with friends, our structure can accommodate up to six people, offering an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
